We provide appointments' within 48 hours of receiving the instructions. Once appointments are confirmed, the report will be commissioned and delivered to be the instructing party within a week of examination.

All medical legal reports are quality checked to ensure presentation accuracy, the presence of a clear prognosis and compliant with the Civil Procedure Rules. There may be exceptional reports where amendments may be required and therefore we do not charge for minor amendments requested by our clients / instructing parties.

Medical Records

Instructing parties often need reports with sight of GP records and we will where required obtain the patient's medical consent to request these documents directly from the medical authority. Or these can be provided to us from the instructing party. In any case, MED-COP has stringent measures to protect its patients confidentiality and data protection - all records would be scanned and uploaded onto our secure server where the relevant medical expert will be granted access to view these records. This would eliminate the possibilities of the records falling into the wrong recipient or going missing.
